Christmas Time

Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee
Christmas Time
In the land of Gorgeous, there existed one man and his sidekick in order to ward off the forces of evil and ugly. That man was Pretty Princess Man, and his sidekick was Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee Together this unstoppable force fights with power and precision and has no mercy for the forces that stand in their way.

“Wake up! Wake up!” Pretty Princess Man said loudly, to wake Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee up. “It’s December and we have to write our letters to Santa. I don’t even know what to say. I want it to be just marvelous.”
Bonnie yawned and stretched her arms. “Settle down Pretty Princess Man,” she started. “I, unlike you, am prepared. I already have my letter to Santa written. Here take a look.” Bonnie then handed Pretty Princess Man a slip of paper.
It read:
Dear Santa,
This year has been just beautiful. Gorgeous is so wonderful. The sun shines brightly every day, the singing corn makes everyone smile, the School of Dreams makes even the wildest dreams come true, and now to top off a near perfect year comes Christmas. Santa, you are amazing and I thank you for everything.
Now Santa this year I do not ask for much. I ask for one mere thing. I ask that you would bring me a righteous and radiant red rose. I want this rose to bring joy to anyone who lays there eyes upon it. I just love the spreading of joy, and it would mean the world to me, I was able to do just that.

Thanks, Your Dearest Friend,

Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee
“Wow,” Pretty Princess Man said. “That’s an amazing letter. I need to start on mine. I’ll call you over to my house when I have finished it.”
With that, Pretty Princess Man ran across the lane and into his house. Pretty Princess Man sat at his desk wondering and wondering just what he truly wanted for Christmas. Then all of a sudden it hit him and he began to write.
Once he had finished he ran across the lane and into the house of Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee. “Bonnie! Bonnie!” he exclaimed I finished it.
The two of them then ran across the lane for Bonnie’s first time that day, and Pretty Princess Man’s fourth. They entered Pretty Princess Man’s house and came to his desk. There Pretty Princess Man handed Bonnie his letter to Santa which read:
Dear Santa,
I have been really nice this year and hope that mean I have made it onto your nice list. I love this land and everyone in it. I hope that only goodness comes for the future because things have just been splendid and I hope they stay that way.
Well, I hate how selfish it sounds to ask you for gifts, but it is your job Santa. So here it goes. Santa, this year for Christmas, I want a chance to meet you. I know you live at the top of Gorgeous, but just to be able to have a conversation with you would be awesome.

Love, one of your adoring fans,

Pretty Princess Man
“Wow,” Bonnie said. “That would be awesome. Who wouldn’t want to meet Santa? Well now I guess we’d better mail our letters.”
“Of course,” Pretty Princess Man replied. “Let’s go see Mr. Letter Maileth. He is the best postman in the land.”
Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee set out for a stroll in the Town of Miracles. They passed the statue of the King of Princesses and came to the post office, labeled post office. When they walked in they were greeted with only smiles and Letter Maileth addressed them, “Well hello there! If it isn’t Bonnie and Pretty Princess Man? How are you guys doing of this just wonderful December morning?”
“Just great!” Bonnie said.
“Stellar,” replied Pretty Princess Man.
“Terrific,” answered Letter Maileth. “I take it you guys are here to mail your letters to Santa.”
“You bet,” replied Bonnie.
“Great, I’ll take them then,” Letter Maileth said.
“Hey,” started Pretty Princess Man, “do you get to see Santa when you deliver his mail?”
“I wish,” Letter Maileth said. “But once I get within 50 miles of the top of Gorgeous, an elf meets me and takes the mail the rest of the way. I’m afraid not a soul in Gorgeous has ever seen Santa.”

The time flew by and December 24 came. The day was a sight to behold. The ground was gently blanketed with a sheet of snow. There were snowmen a plenty. Children passed the time with friendly games of snowball fights. The sun shown down but did not melt the snow. Carolers caroled to and fro bringing smiles all about. Yes, the day truly was worthy of the title, “Christmas Eve.”
Now Pretty Princess Man was very troubled by the words of Letter Maileth. For if not a soul had ever seen Santa in Gorgeous, than why would Santa stop to talk with Pretty Princess Man?
Pretty Princess Man went over to Bonnie’s house and, as always, crossed the lane. “Welcome,” Bonnie called as Pretty Princess Man opened the door.
“How are you?” asked Pretty Princess Man.
“Perfect,” replied Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee. “This day is just perfect. I can’t wait for the rose that Santa is to bring me! It will be so wonderful.”
“Yes it will,” agreed Pretty Princess Man. “But my wish, I just don’t know if Santa will want to talk to me. I mean he hasn’t ever been seen by a soul in Gorgeous. Why now?”
“Pretty Princess Man, I am sure he will. You are amazing. You rock at dancing ballet, you wear the most fabulous dresses, and you are turning girls down left and right. Santa has to meet you.”
“Thanks Bonnie,” Pretty Princess Man said feeling more reassured now.
To pass the time, Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee and Pretty Princess Man played one of their favorite Christmas games, Christmas charades.
Pretty Princess Man went first. He stood erect, and very still. Then he grabbed a hat, started to move, and acted all jolly.
“Frosty the Snowman,” Bonnie giggled.
“Yep,” Pretty Princess Man replied. “Your turn.”
Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee thought hard, and then started her turn. She then got on her hands and knees and began galloping about. She acted all sad, like people were laughing and calling her names, and not letting her join in any games. But then she got all happy and started leading the way. She clicked on a flashlight, so that the right way could be seen.
“Rudolph!” Pretty Princess Man laughed.
“Correct,” Bonnie smiled.
The time was now very late, and Santa would be coming any minute. Pretty Princess Man could hardly keep it together; his anticipation was killing him. Just then all of the lights went out and snow appeared in the room and swirled around.
“Ho, Ho, Ho!” was the sound that resonated from the swirling snow. The snow let out a bright flash and I its place stood a jolly fat man with a red suit on.
“SANTA!!!!” exclaimed Pretty Princess Man. “You got my letter! You came! This is amazing!”
“Ah, Pretty Princess Man, I have been watching you. You are a very special man, and I wanted to honor you your wish, for things in the land of Gorgeous are about to change. I can sense that much.”
“What do you mean?” asked Pretty Princess Man.
“Ah, do not worry about it now,” Santa said. “For now, enjoy your time. Oh, and I have two more special gifts for you. You are to come with me to the top of Gorgeous and there I will give you your final gift.”
“Awesome!” Pretty Princess Man said.
Pretty Princess Man and Santa then turned into a whirl of snow and shot up the chimney. They formed into themselves on Santa’s sleigh, headed by Rudolph. The Santa said, “Here comes the fun part. Hold on tight!”
The sleigh jerked off the roof of Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee’s house and began to speed through the air. The night sky flew by at speeds unknown and stars were a blur. A mere five minutes later, Pretty Princess Man found himself at the top of Gorgeous.
“Whoa! That was fast,” Pretty Princess Man remarked.
“Well I have to be if I am to get around the worlds in one night,” Santa mumbled inaudibly.
“So what is this gift I am to have?” asked Pretty Princess Man.
“Something special that your father wanted you to have. I am merely the deliverer of this gift. Here it is Pretty Princess Man.”
Once Santa spoke, a scepter of immense power found itself in the hand of Pretty Princess Man. Then Pretty Princess Man heard a voice in his head, “Son, use this weapon wisely. For once you have used its power; the scepter will be made useless. When the time comes for you to use it, call upon me and I will shine through it, but when that time arrives, evil will have befallen the land of Gorgeous. Once you have used the scepter's power you must know that the task of saving the land is upon your shoulders, and you must figure out the way by yourself, but know that I am with you always.”
“Whoa!” Pretty Princess Man blurted out and then blacked out.
۩ ۩ ۩
When Pretty Princess Man awoke, he was in the house of Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee. “Merry Christmas,” Bonnie said. “You have been sleeping for quite awhile. It’s too bad that you didn’t get to see Santa. I’m truly sorry, but he did bring me the rose I asked for. Maybe next year Pretty Princess Man.”
