Episode 2: The Angry Unicorn

Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee
Episode 2: The Angry Unicorn
In the land of Gorgeous, there existed one man and his sidekick in order to ward off the forces of evil and ugly. That man was Pretty Princess Man, and his sidekick was Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee Together this unstoppable force fights with power and precision and has no mercy for the forces that stand in their way.

The night was a strange one. It was the first night that contained, what some would call: evil. The land of Gorgeous had never known this, so the night indeed was something to behold.
This night would last longer than any other night the land of Gorgeous had seen, because the land itself was unsure how to deal with the new arousing affairs. The night was eerie, and mysterious. There were noises throughout the night that haunted even the cutest little girls, even though the land tried to spare them the most.
When the sun finally choose to rise, things were amiss. Everyone knew that something had happened, and the people in the land of Gorgeous were terrified. Something had to be done, but what, no one knew.
“Come on people. Get a grip,” Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee said trying to settle the masses.
“Bonnie,” whispered Pretty Princess Man, “I have an idea. Let's get the King of Princesses to hold a Gorgeous Gathering in his Castle of Adoration. This way he can assure all the Gorgeousians that everything will be fine.”
“Fine idea,” Bonnie murmured. “I'll talk to the King of Princesses, and you can continue to quiet these people down.”
“You bet Bonnaroo,” Pretty Princess Man replied.
With that, Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee called upon the powers of the Bees of the Blue and they granted her with wings for a short while. She began to fly towards the Castle of Adoration and left Pretty Princess Man to contend with the large multitude of creatures.
Bonnie soared high in the clouds and began to wonder what possibly could have caused such a devastating turn of events in the land of Gorgeous. She began to reflect back upon when she was just a very itty bitty baby bumblebee.

Her parents were the proudest bumblebees that any bumblebee could be, but something was amiss with her birth. Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee was born sickly, and the land of Gorgeous itself strove to save her, but the land in itself could not cure Bonnie. Bonnie would have to lose her wings and stinger and become a humanoid form in order to live. Bonnie's parents desperately loved their child and thought that life was the best option so Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee was humanoid in form.
It was different for Bonnie growing up with her parents since she was the average size for a human and her full grown parents only reached three feet above the ground. Bonnie managed to survive and all of the Bees of the Blue treated her with respect and kindness and tried to incorporate Bonnie into their activities, but it was hard due to Bonnie's height and her lack of wings and stinger.
Bonnie lived her life with the Bees of the Blue until she came of age. When that time came, the elders of the Blue Bee Body called Bonnie to them. The head of the Body began to speak, “Bonnie you have lived with us for these 10 years of your life and now you've finally come of age. We did not know this until now, but there is a way for you to have wings and a stinger. Keep this in mind though, you can only call upon your wings and stinger once a day, and they will only last you 3 hours of the day. What you must do is call upon all of us here by saying, 'Bees of the Blue lend me your strength, I cry out to thee now!' Do this and we shall all lend you our strength for the 3 hours that are allowed, but do not try and exceed this limit, for if you do, the land of Gorgeous itself will suffer, and the land has not had to know the pain of suffering. Take heed of these words, and treasure them.”
Ever since that day, Bonnie had never seen the Bees of the Blue again. Bonnie was eager to try out the powers of the Bees of the Blue to see if what the head of the Blue Bee Body had said was true, so that she could have wings and fly and a stinger should danger ever come her way, although that never happened in the land of Gorgeous.
“Bees of the Blue lend me your strength, I cry out to thee now!” Bonnie exclaimed. Then suddenly something extraordinary happened. Wings began to grow out of Bonnie's back, and she grew a stinger, in almost no time. Bonnie was thrilled and excited. Her whole life she had gone without wings and a stinger, and now, as if they were always there, she had them.
Bonnie began to flap her wings, and was gently lifted off the ground. It was awkward for Bonnie at first, but slowly she mastered the art of flying after days of practicing for the three hours that she was allowed to keep her wings. Bonnie was content with her life, but she longed for something more. That's when Bonnie decided to travel throughout the land of Gorgeous until she found her passion.
Bonnie began by walking through the Forest of Hope. She lived there for awhile and loved all of the elves, and the joyous sounds of their Melody Flutes. Although Bonnie still did not feel at home there. Bonnie ventured and became a student at the School of Dreams. She was proud of all the friendships she made with the other students, but she felt that her dream just wasn't at the School of Dreams.
Bonnie again set out to look for what could possibly satisfy her craving of what she should do. This time she found it. She was walking through the town of Miracles, and a man came up to her. “Hello,” this man said, “How are you today?”
“I'm not quite sure,” Bonnie replied, “I feel lost. I don't know what a should be doing in the land of Gorgeous. I have traveled to many places, and none feel like home. Even where I lived when I was younger did not feel truly like home to me.”
“That is a dilemma. I think I know what you need though. Come with me, my ballet lessons are starting soon, and I can see that you'd be a great dancer. I'm Pretty Princess Man, and you are?” Pretty Princess Man asked.
“I am Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee. And I don't really dance at all. I don' think that's what I should be doing,” Bonnie said.
“Nonsense Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee, you haven't even given it a try yet. It'll be fun. And you're a bumblebee? You are certainly tall for a bumblebee and you don't have wings nor a stinger.” Pretty Princess Man inquired.
“That's a long story. And sure I guess since you aren't letting it go, I shall give this ballet thing a try.” Bonnie said.
Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee and Pretty Princess Man became the best of friends ever since that day. Bonnie went to the ballet class, and had the best time of her life, she loved it so much. Bonnie decided that ballet was what she must do, and she bought a house across the lane from Pretty Princess Man and everyday they attended ballet together as the best of friends.
Eventually Pretty Princess Man came to know the story of Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee and it just intensified their friendship. Everything was great for them.

Everything was great for them, that was until what had happened the day before. The Rainbow Troll had attacked them, and things were no longer just fabulous in the land of Gorgeous. Somehow Bonnie and Pretty Princess Man had defeated the Rainbow Troll, with some weapon that Pretty Princess Man had. “Hmm,” wondered Bonnie, “How did Pretty Princess Man know about all of these things. I must ask him.”
By this time, Bonnie was almost at the Castle of Adoration. The journey had only taken her about an hour, so she still had plenty of time left for her stinger and wings. Bonnie began to drop in altitude and was approaching the group. She figured she'd just walk up the path to get into the Castle of Adoration, but Bonnie saw something on the side of the path.
“Hey,” Bonnie called, “Are you alright?” Bonnie couldn't see clearly and hoped that whatever it was was okay. So she walked over to check on it.
“No,” bellowed the creature. “Stay back otherwise I may have to harm you.”
“What? Who are you?” Bonnie stammered now a little frightened.
“I,” began the creature, “Am a friend of the Rainbow Troll. I have heard about what you have done to him, and I shall make you pay. I am the Angry Unicorn! I was born into this world as a happy little unicorn, as most of my kind, but as we were running one day I became lost. I never found my herd again, and I became angry with them.
“My hatred only grew as time went on, for my herd had abandoned me. I had nothing but myself to rely on, but then one day they found me. They took me in, and showed me what darkness can do, and its power is tremendous. It is unmatchable, now prepare yourself for my vengeance, because I shall not permit you to leave here with your life.”
“You should not live in hate,” Bonnie said. “I am sure that your herd cared about you very, very much. And they'd take you back and embrace you even now. Darkness has no true power.”
“You are fooled,” Angry Unicorn said. “And you shall die never knowing the truth.” With those words Angry Unicorn began to charge at Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee with his horn sticking out aimed straight at her heart.
Bonnie, barely escaping, leaped into the air and used her wings to keep her in midair. “You leave me no choice,” Bonnie said. “I must defeat you.”
“Ha,” snickered the Angry Unicorn, “If only you could.”
Bonnie twisted in the air and dove at the Angry Unicorn stinger first. The Angry Unicorn easily evaded the attack with a quick gallop to the left. The Angry Unicorn charged again with his horn, and Bonnie parried the horn aside with her stinger and then she flew higher for another dive attempt.
Bonnie flew up to the clouds and began her dive, picking up speed every second of the way, but something was strange. The Angry Unicorn did not look afraid, and was standing firm. Bonnie continued her dive anyway, but the Angry Unicorn laughed.
“Taste a little power of darkness,” he bellowed. The Angry Unicorn's horn turned pitch black, it was darker than the night sky was when there were clouds that blocked the starlight. It was so black, that color around the horn seemed to be faded, as to keep the horn's darkness steady.
Everything went black for a second for Bonnie, and she felt something she had never felt before. This physical hurt, was the first pain that anyone in the land of Gorgeous had ever felt. The land moaned with hurt, knowing that things had been changed for sure.
“Oh!” screamed Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee. She did not know how she was going to live. Things looked hopeless for her.
Then she remembered the head of the Blue Bee Body's words, “we shall all lend you our strength.” With that thought in her head, Bonnie now knew that she could not lose with everyone fighting with her.
“I'm afraid this will be the end of you Angry Unicorn,” Bonnie said ferociously. Bonnie with new found strength rose herself about the clouds, and dove once more at the Angry Unicorn. Angry Unicorn just stood there again, gathering darkness into his horn, but Bonnie was traveling so fast that she was just a blur. She turned her body, dodging the darkness horn, and plunged her stinger right into the heart of the Angry Unicorn.
“Ah,” coughed the Angry Unicorn. “What is this strength that you possess? Who do you fight for?”
“I fight for my friends and for purpose. I am not on my own, so you and the powers of darkness have no chance against our unity,” Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee said. After those words were spoken, the Angry Unicorn let out a cry that was to be his last.
“Wow,” Bonnie thought aloud, “Things are a mess. What is going to calm down this chaos?” Bonnie buried the Angry Unicorn in the ground and continued on her way to the Castle of Adoration. About ten minutes later Bonnie arrived at the gate, and entered the castle.
