Episode 6: A Decisive Battle

Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee

Episode 6: A Decisive Battle

In the land of Gorgeous, there existed one man and his sidekick in order to ward off the forces of evil and ugly. That man was Pretty Princess Man, and his sidekick was Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee Together this unstoppable force fights with power and precision and has no mercy for the forces that stand in their way.

As you very well know, the land of Gorgeous was in a troublesome state. Darkness was prevailing over the light, and the land was suffering. Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee were training with the Ginja Ninja, so now with the land virtually unprotected would be the perfect time for the darkness to strike, and that was precisely the intention of the Amor Association.

“Now is our time to make ourselves known,” began Agape speaking the the lesser three members of the Amor Association. “Long have we remained hidden in this land, watching happiness prance around without any hindrance. The time has come for change, a change in which darkness will rule unchecked in this land. Come let us prepare, for tonight we storm the Castle of Adoration and we shall conquer it!”

Philia grabbed his weapon of choice, a lance. This lance had the powers of darkness sewn into it with the power from all of the lives that it had claimed. The shaft of the lance was completely black, and the spearhead was as white as ivory. Once the lance pierced the heart of its victim, the victim's soul would be absorbed into the ivory tip and cause the shaft to resonate darkness, turning it as black as death. Thus, this weapon became known as the Loathsome Lance.

Storge, being of a more muscular build, preferred to use a weapon of power. His weapon was infused with the screams of his victims. The ax that he used was a color that looked as if it were woven out of flame. It was red, orange, and yellow at the same time and resonated a heat so intense that none could hope to leave battle without a burn. This ferocious weapon, with the fear that it imposed, was called the Hell Halberd.

Eros, being agile and tall, preferred to use a ranged weapon. Eros claimed the bow as his weapon. His bow was blood red, and once an arrow penetrated the skin of his enemy, the blood that would be shed was taken in by the bow. This gave the bow an appearance like no other and caused it to hold an excruciating amount of darkness. Eros' weapon was known as the Blood Bow.

Agape, the leader of the Amor Association, was stronger and faster than all of the other Amorites combined. His presence struck fear into the heart of his enemies, and none could hope to withstand his might. Agape used a sword as his weapon. Black borrowed its color from his sword. The blade was dark, not black, but dark, as the blade seemed to be woven out of all sorrowful things in life. Fear, hate, pain, rage, anger, and immorality were all present in the blade of his sword. The hilt was a color unknown to the world. No words could possibly describe the kind of power that resonated from the hilt of Agape's sword, Impurity.

With that, the four Amorites equipped themselves for the battle that would remain etched in the minds of Gorgeousians for generations to come. The Amorites gathered an army of demons to aid them in their quest to conquer the castle. The army's numbers were in the thousands and no one could possibly hope to stand in its way.

Eros began chanting some ancient evil language and opened up a dark void. The army began to pour through the void into the foreground before the castle. Once the army had gone traveled to the land of Gorgeous, the four Amorites stepped through, and thus began the Battle of Adoration.

“Demons,” called Agape. “Now is the time for darkness to prevail. Leave no survivors and take this castle for our own!”

“Yes lord,” the demons replied in unison, as they turned towards the castle.

Fortunately, the King of Princesses had not been so arrogant and knew that an attack was inevitable. The King had prepared an army, although not comparable to that of the Amor Association, of the bravest souls in the land of Gorgeous. Little Pumpkin, Frolicking Fawn, Kindhearted Kitty, Breathtaking Bunny, and Glittering Grizzly were among the King's army along with several other Gorgeousians.

The battle itself would last for hours, with the death of many demons and Gorgeousians. The land of Gorgeous was to be harmed severely, as this was to be one of the darkest days in the entire history of Gorgeous. The land would become blood-stained and would remain that way for years to come.

The Battle of Adoration began with the demons charging the Gorgeousians. The Gorgeousians had arranged themselves with calvary at the front, followed closely by the infantry, and then archers were stationed farther back to arch from a distance.

The first line of demons penetrated the calvary and began fighting the infantry. The archers were shooting down the demons trying to protect the lives of the few hundred infantrymen that they had. The first line of around 400 demons easily fell, but then the second wave began, and the fighting just raged on.

“Master,” Eros hissed. “Why do we just sit here and bide our time. The four of us could easily take them out.”

“Fool,” Agape replied. “We are observing. We are not to be ignorant, for that will be our downfall. We must learn everything that we possibly can about this land.”

After an hour had passed, only 500 Gorgeousians remained alive, compared to the 2,000 demons. Things were going badly for the Gorgeousians, and they were beginning to lose all hope of victory. A final stand had to be made.

“Charge!” screamed the Glittering Grizzly. This energized the Gorgeousians for their final stand. The 500 remaining Gorgeousians charged and battled for another hour.

Once the hour had been completed, only five Gorgeousians remained alive, whereas 100 demons and the Amorites were still alive. The five Gorgeousians were Little Pumpkin, Frolicking Fawn, Kindhearted Kitty, Breathtaking Bunny, and Glittering Grizzly.

“Enough,” chuckled Agape, as he and the lesser Amorites walked over to the surrounded Gorgeousians. “The four of us will test you remaining five.”

“I will take the fawn and the bunny,” Storge said.

“I want the Grizzly,” Philia said.

“I've never liked kitties,” Eros remarked.

“That leaves the pumpkin for me,” Agape said.

Breathtaking Bunny and Frolicking Fawn both charged at Storge, but Storge simply leaped into the air and hovered there, causing the attacks to miss. “You guys are more pathetic than Pretty Princess Man,” laughed Storge.

“Take that back,” the Frolicking Fawn said.

“I have no need to,” Storge replied and pulled out the Hell Halberd.

“Ah-,” shuttered Frolicking Fawn and Breathtaking Bunny from the heat that there bodies became exposed to.

Storge swung the halberd down upon his two foes and caused them to become unconscious. “Too easy,” Storge chuckled.

“Hopefully you'll put up a better fight, you pathetic creature,” Philia said to Glittering Grizzly.

“My power far surpasses yours,” roared Glittering Grizzly.

“All you have is size,” Philia replied. “You possess no skill and have no control. This shouldn't take very long.”

Glittering Grizzly became frustrated with these words and lashed out at Philia, nearly taking out his side with his claws, but Philia was much too fast for that.

“Slower than Pretty Princess Man,” thought Philia aloud. “I didn't even have to use my weapon on Pretty Princess Man, but I guess you can receive that honor. I just don't have any more patience. Now your time is over!”

Philia's lance appeared in his hand out of thin air. He spun the Loathsome Lance around in one hand and stabbed towards Glittering Grizzly. Glittering Grizzly barely evaded the attack with a hop to the left.

“Why resist? You are merely extending your suffering.” Philia disappeared, or seemed to. He appeared behind Glittering Grizzly and stabbed him in the hind legs crippling him and causing him to faint.

“Hmm. Our turn,” smirked Eros.

“What?” said Kindhearted Kitty, but it was too late, Eros had already strung his Blood Bow and released. The arrow went straight through the forearms of Kindhearted Kitty.

Kindhearted Kitty vision blurred and then his hearing failed him. Kindhearted Kitty vomited from the pain and then blacked out. “Wow,” Eros said in a whisper, “these people are not worth out time.”

“Wait,” Little Pumpkin started.

“What?” Agape returned.

“I cannot possibly hope to defeat you. You have killed many Gorgeousians here today and wounded our best,” Little Pumpkin stated.

“So one of you has a brain,” muttered Eros under his breath.

“Very true,” Agape said back to Little Pumpkin. “You have two options: One, battle me and die, or two, come with us and be imprisoned in the dungeon. Your imprisonment will make you wish that you were dead and your stomach will constantly yearn for food.”

“I choose life,” Little Pumpkin replied.

“So be it,” Agape answered.

With that the five remaining Gorgeousians from the battle were led into the abandoned Castle of Adoration. The Castle had been lost, and darkness was prevailing all over the land. Little Pumpkin, Frolicking Fawn, Kindhearted Kitty, Breathtaking Bunny, and Glittering Grizzly were all imprisoned in separate cells in the harshest of conditions.

“Very well,” Agape said addressing the lesser Amorites. “The day is ours and soon the land will bow down to darkness. This castle shall now be known as the Castle of Termination, and we will reside here.”

So the Battle of Adoration was lost by the Gorgeousians and the Castle of Adoration fell to the Amor Association. The foreground of the castle was bloodstained and was piled high with dead bodies. The blood soaked into the ground and the land of Gorgeous could not handle the contamination and the land became sick.

Hope was scarce, as the King of Princesses was nowhere to be found. The only hope for the land of Gorgeous came from Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the blue Bumblebee, but they were training with the Ginja Ninja, a gingerbread man who had learned the art of Beautiful Battling. Hope, one of the three things Pretty Princess Man stood for, would need to be found if light was to prevail over the darkness.

That concludes the story of Pretty Princess Man and Bonnie the Blue Bumblebee for this week. Tune in next week to find out what our heroes will do to save and protect the land of Gorgeous.
